Submit a Character Background
Character backgrounds are optional for many characters. Our team will use background to occasionally generate personal plot for characters at our events. To that end, there are a couple things we ask players to keep in mind.
Please be brief. We receive a lot of backgrounds, and those longer than two pages will have to be condensed.
Stay local. The Arkansas Chapter only has storytelling authority within Arkansas. Characters from abroad will require approval from the chapter in that area. Keeping your character background in Arkansas’s setting gives our team more options in what we can run for your character.
There is an existing agreement with Texas and Oklahoma that Arkansas players can create characters consistent with their setting with the intent of primarily playing the character at those events. Please make a note on your submission if this is your intent.
Please keep any groups in your background as small as possible.

You will be added as an editor to a google doc, where we’ll discuss your background with you if needed and mark it approved when it’s all good!
