The Iron Tusks are a tribe of Natural Ones that have settled in Crystal Creek. Incredibly resourceful, and abhorring waste, the Iron Tusks have thrived due to their hunting prowess, warrior skills, and shrewd nature. Iron Tusks dress with durability and utility in mind, rarely caring about fashion or trends. Adornments that note past achievements and conquests are commonplace.
Iron Tusks can be cordial when you meet them, but it will be a long time before they will call you 'Friend'. These rough times necessitate the need for trade and so the tribe is always eager for fair deals. Keep in mind, the Iron Tusks are more likely to weigh a person's action than they are the words spoken.
No one is really sure how many Widow Makers there are, and they sure aren't gonna tell. A group of Lascarians, they have taken a great interest in all matters that come near their underground lairs. While not actually holding control over all mining, most mining ventures or major digs will run successfully with the Widow Makers backing. Those who have spelunked without including the Widow Makers have run afoul of many malfunctions, cave-ins, and unexpected guests.
Crescent Wrench Guild
The smallest of the three factions within Crystal Creek, the Crescent Wrench Guild (or CWs) are a mismatched group of strains who banded together to maintain the town's machinery in working order. Mostly comprised of Tinkers and Engineers, they have enough of the other professions to keep themselves somewhat self-sufficient.
