This mechanic functions to increase the depth of Financial Roleplay as well as make PFA’s / CEA’s feel more useful. Anyone with Financial Influence can choose any of the buy lists but can only buy one item for each level of the skill they have. Players with PFA’s can buy 1 item from the qualifying list for each PFA they have up to 3. Players with CEA’s can buy 1 item from the qualifying list for each CEA they have.
The cost of these items will fluctuate depending on how well the financial institution is doing. The modifier serves as an increase or decrease to the base cost of the item. The modifier affects every tier of a buylist and thus increases or decreases the cost of every item on that list.
Example: Master Financial can buy 3 items total. A player with only 2 PFA’s/CEA’s can buy 2 items total. A Player with Master Financial and 2 PFA’s/CEA’s can buy 5 items total. A player with 5 PFA’s can buy 3 items.
Additionally players can spend 1 Favor Token from their respective faction to buy 1 more item off the list. This can be done as many times as long as they have Favor Tokens to spend. You still must spend stone to purchase these items.
